Well, here is a stab at my Sunday 6.

1. I am truly thankful for my wife who stands by me (albeit shortly) through the trials and joys of this life. She has been my rock and my strength and a voice of reason when I get skewed.

2. I am grateful to be able to attend the Priesthood session with my son and grandson, miss Brent being there but the ice cream after was still good.

3. I am grateful for the Holy Ghost manifesting to me during conference that the truth is being spoken. The Gospel is our safe haven in the storm around us.

4. I am grateful for the Saviors love for us and the example that he is. It makes it easoer to deal with my latest test. Just let me say that we have our freedom to choose as we please, but the one choosing is not the only one affected by that choice. How true are the words that Susan said, don't feel sorry for me, you have to stay here and deal with all the trouble in the world. AMEN

5. I am grateful for all the grandchildren that I am blessed with, and so very happy for the 2 newest to bless our lives.

6. I am grateful for the daughters that I have, and for the things that they bring to the table of life, especially for Kami and the love that she gives to Brent, unconditionally, I may be prejudiced, but he deserves a break, thank you all,I love you.

Hi Richard, I just LOVE it when the men post their Sunday Six, it's always the best and yours was no exception. I got a little teary. Thank you for your sweet comments about Kami and our grandchildren. Until you have experienced a child going through the heartache that ours have, you can never know the joy that comes when they find happiness again. Some have accused me of being "over the top" in my giddyness about Kami and Brent but until you live through the days of lonliness and sadness with them you just can't understand the "over the top" way you feel when they come out of the tunnel of darkness. We are so thankful for Brent, he is just the best husband and father to our children and he must have learned that from you. We're sorry he's not there for special times like Priesthood Sessions but I'm really happy that he's here, I know he and Kami are both where they belong.

Dear Big Brother, I was so glad to read your gratitudes! You are a great man and I love you so much! I wish we could all see eachother more often.

Sorry about your experience in Seattle. It is a beautiful place but it is a big city and has its' troubles. If we had been there in Tacoma you could have stayed at the Loose's Hotel. It would have been much friendlier!

Oh, & I agree with Susan! She sure is missing a lot of garbage isn't she? She's up there having fun with all kinds of people while all muddle on through life every day!

I just want to say that I love you Dad! Thanks for being the best Dad in the whole wide world (and I can say that because I have had more than just one Dad:) You really are the best! Thanks for loving all of us and setting a good example for all of us!

Richard; I just checked your blog thinking maybe by chance you had written there. Was I ever happy to see that you had. I appreciated your Sunday six so much. You made your Mother proud. The comment you made about Susan touched my heart so much. That was her attitude all through the difficulties. No complaints at all. God bless her

Hope things are beginning to look up for you. You know how very much I love you. I have two of the best boys that ever lived. And my girls are pretty special too.

All my love Mamma

There are times you remind me so much of Daddy. He always wrote heartfelt and a little formal but was a real cut up in person. Your comments are so appreciated. What Susan said is too true. I often wish I could put this world behind me and not deal with all the poop that flies around. Sadly, I'm being bugged to get off the computer (homework is the trump card). Love you!

I love this Sunday Six. Thank you for sharing your love with all of us. I can honestly say that you and Sherri have blessed my life in more ways that I can even begin to list...but I have felt your love and acceptance from the moment I walked in to your home and I will be forever grateful for that...and the two of you.
Thank you for raising such wonderful children who love and appreciate the good in this life, although at times it is hard to find...Who know what it means to be a family..sons who treat their wives with admiration and respect...who honor their priesthood and invite the spirit into their homes.
Daughters who love their husbands unconditionally, who raise their children in righteousness and have the light of Christ radiate throughout them.
I just LOVE being a part of this family. I know my Father in Heaven just picked me up out of the sadness of life and hand placed me into the lives of each of you...especially Brent who has brought light back to my eyes, a spring to my step and JOY to my heart!
Thank you for being a GREAT dad to him, to me and for being a GREAT grandpa Dick to Gav and Sav!!
WE LOVE YOU!!
See in you a couple days
Seven up here I come...tell Morty I am out to get him! :)

Thanks for the six, I most whole heartedly agree. Kami is something else, we love her so much. She was telling us the other day that she was so glad to have Brent to share the parenting with. He has been waiting for that his whole life. Thanks for loving him and know that he loves you both the same and more. A washer, yep, Brigham Young has said something to the fact that things would come forth to aid the saints in easing their daily lives to let them have more time to further the Lords work and their own salvation. Your city is such a neat place, how I envy you all for living there. All the sloppy stuff to you all. DICK

Richard, I'm so proud of you!! The bigger part of being a good blogger is being a good commentor and you are really getting the hang of it! Keep up the good work! We hope you and Sherri know you are welcome in St. George anytime, the Little Bed and Breakfast is always OPEN!!
